ROMANELLI, James A., a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., July 8, 1929; attended, St. Michael’s High School; attended, Schenley High School; attended, University of Pittsburgh School of Local Government; completed course, Greater Pittsburgh Board of Realtors of Duquesne University; licensed real estate salesman; vice-president, South Side Chamber of Commerce; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1972; reelected in 1974; resigned from the House, November 17, 1975; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1975-1988); appointed, Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee (1981-1986); died while in office of Senate, October 15, 1988; interred, Saint Adalberts Cemetery, Carrick, Alleghany County, Pennsylvania.
