YOUNG, Walter S., a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Donaldson, Schuylkill County, Pa., January 19, 1854; store clerk; contractor; mercantilist; elected, chief burgess, Lykens (1880, 1891-1897); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Lykens, Pa. (1880-1886); elected, justice of the peace, Lykens (1897-1919); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1915 term; resigned from the House, March 1, 1916; died, June 17, 1945 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Lykens, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
