WOOD, William Lincoln, a Representative from Fayette County; born, February 17, 1867 in Luzerne Township, Fayette County, Pa.; attended, Southwestern Normal School (now Pennsylvania Western University, California); farmer; engaged in mercantile and livestock businesses; elected, council Jefferson; school director, Jefferson; director, First National Bank and Citizen’s Bank in Fayette County; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1904 and 1906; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1908 General election; died, June 2, 1954 in Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; interred, Redstone Cemetery, Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
