WISEHAUPT, George Brenton McClellan, Sr., a Representative from Juniata County; born, January 22, 1864 in Spruce Hill Township, Juniata County, Pa.; attended, Airy View Academy; farmer (1884-1890); butcher (1890-1892); elected, tax collector, Port Royal (1890-1891); grain, coal, lumber and railroad ties and machinery businessman (1892-1903); chair, Juniata County Democratic Committee (1898-1899); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1902; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1904 General election; vice-president, Heverly Manufacturing, Storage & Supply Company (1903-1909); president, Lewistown Ice & Storage Co. (1909-1934); president, Lewistown Trust Company (1903-1934); president, Lewistown Market House Company; director and general manager of the Sunbury Ice & Storage Co.; died, January 30, 1934 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal, Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
