WILLIAMS, Thomas Reese, a Representative from Northumberland County; born in Minersville, Schuylkill County, Pa., February 1, 1875; graduated, Shamokin Business College, 1893; mail carrier, United States Postal Service, Mount Carmel (4 years); city editor, Mount Carmel Daily News (1 year); hotel proprietor, Valley House, Mount Carmel (1905-1908); school director, Mount Carmel; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1909 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1911 term; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Mount Carmel (1910-1911); director, Miners’ and Laborers’ Building and Loan Association; died, October 15, 1918 in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
