WILLIAMS, John P., a Representative from Crawford County; born in Dicksonburg, Crawford County, Pa., October 8, 1952; graduated, Meadville Business College, 1874; farmer; lumber manufacturer; elected, sheriff, Crawford County (1903-1906); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1916; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1918 General election; died, April 13, 1940 in East Mead Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Townley Cemetery, Cambridge Springs, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
