WILLIAMS, Edward H., a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Everdale, Luzerne County, April 4, 1862; attended, Snyder’s Business College, Wilkes-Barre; coal mine foreman, Lehigh & Wilkes-Barre Co.; grocer; president, Central Labor Party of Wilkes-Barre; appointed, State Mine Inspector’s Examining Board; appointed, Luzerne County Mining Board; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1904 and reelected in 1908; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1906, 1910, 1912); treasurer, Wilkes-Barre; died, February 5, 1919 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Vine Street Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
