SEVENTY, Steve, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, June 12, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; attended, St. Matthew’s High School and St. Michael’s High School; graduated, Duquesne University; performer, 179th AGF Band, United States Army (1945-1946); owner and operator, Seventy’s Music, Pittsburgh; teacher, Duquesne University; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1978; served 4 more consecutive terms; died while in office, July 6, 1988 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
