WEDDELL, Dr. Edward P., a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, June 5, 1856 in Allegheny County, Pa.; attended, Waynesburg College and Indiana Normal School (now Indiana University of Pennsylvania); M.D., Western Reserve University (now Case Western Reserve University), 1884; teacher (7 years); principal, Scottdale public school (2 years); physician; member, board of education, Scottdale, member, board of pension examiners, Westmoreland County; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1906 and 1908; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1910); died, August 28, 1922 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Scottdale Cemetery, Scottdale, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
