WATSON, David L., a Representative from Schuylkill County; born in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, Pa., October 11, 1883; attended, East Stroudsburg Normal School (now East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania); banker; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1925 and 1927 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1929 term; reelected to the House for the 1931 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1932); died, April 19, 1957 in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
