WALTER, Charles, a Representative from Franklin County; born in Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pa., January 20, 1866; attended, Chambersburg Academy; graduated, Lafayette College, 1888; lawyer; elected, District Attorney, Franklin County (1893-1898); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1915 and 1917 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1919 term; candidate, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Franklin County (1925); died, September 7, 1925 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
