WALSH, William, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, May 20, 1879 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; attended, Temple College (now Temple University); wholesale flour merchant; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1913 and 1915 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1916); registration commissioner, Philadelphia (1918-1926); real estate assessor; chair, 40th Ward Republican Committee, Philadelphia; died, November 7, 1949 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
