WALLACE, Robert Lauder, a Representative from Lawrence County; born in Pulaski Township, Lawrence County, Pa., April 16, 1876; graduated, Poland Union Seminary, Oh.; graduated, Grove City College, 1899; teacher; lawyer; elected, council, New Castle, 1906; solicitor, New Castle School District (9 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1908; reelected to the House for 3 more non-consecutive terms in 1910, 1916 and 1918; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1912, 1920); appointed, Deputy Attorney General, Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General (1923-1927); trustee, Grove City College; died. April 26, 1961 in Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Park Cemetery, New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
