WALKER, George Thomas, a Representative from Washington County; born in Washington, Washington County, Pa., November 7, 1854; attended, Washington and Jefferson College; sergeant, Company H, 10th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard (5 years); carpenter and contractor, Walker and Slater; elected, chief burgess, Washington; elected, burgess, East Washington; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1918; reelected to serve 2 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1924); died, August 22, 1941 in Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Washington Cemetery, Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
