TIFFANY, George Bronson, a Representative from Susquehanna County; born, June 14, 1842 in Gibson, Susquehanna County, Pa.; attended, Franklin Academy, Harford; private, Company D, 35th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1863, Civil War); farmer; school director, auditor, assessor, Gibson Township; enumerator, United States Census, Gibson Township (1890); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican for the 1899 and 1901 terms; special correspondent and statistical agent, United States Bureau of Agriculture; died, April 29, 1909 in Gibson, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania; interred, Union Hill Cemetery, Gibson, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.
