THOMPSON, W. A. Parke, a Representative from Chester County; born in Highland Township, Chester County, Pa., April 11, 1849; contractor; building developer; elected, council, Coatesville (1889-1895); elected, burgess, Coatesville (1900-1903); promoter, Coatesville Electric Light Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1904 and served one term; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1906 General election; died, November 5, 1929 in Pennsylvania; interred, Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
