THOMPSON, Harry A., a Representative from Blair County; born in Waterfall Mills, Fulton County, Pa., June 6, 1867; served, United States Navy (1898, Spanish-American War); printing apprentice; teacher; editor and publisher, Tyrone Times; transcribing clerk, Pennsylvania State Senate (1905-1906); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1907 and 1909 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1911 term; died, August 12, 1926 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Paxtang Cemetery, Paxtang, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
