STROH, William Righter, a Representative from Carbon County; born in Mauch Chunk (now Jim Thorpe), Carbon County, Pa., November 20, 1858; graduated, Dickinson Seminary (now Lycoming College); graduated, Crittenden College, 1875; wholesale and retail boot and shoe business; director, Second National Bank; member, Carbon County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1901 term; died while in office, March 23, 1902 in Mauch Chunk (Jim Thorpe), Carbon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mauch Chunk Cemetery, Jim Thorpe, Carbon County, Pennsylvania.
