STOFFLET, Robert A., a Representative from Northampton County; born in Belfast, Plainfield Township, Northampton County, Pa., May 20, 1867; graduated, West Chester Normal School (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania); lawyer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1916; reelected to the House in 1922; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1918); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1920, 1924); died, March 26, 1934 in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Forks Cemetery, Stockertown, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
