STEVENS, Dr. Atherton B., a Representative from Wayne County; born in Sterling, Wayne County, Pa., June 18, 1857; M.D., Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), 1880; physician; farmer, druggist; treasurer, South Canaan Township; justice of the peace, South Canaan Township; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1905 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1907 term; died, July 11, 1914 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania; interred, Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
