STEESE, James Andrew, a Representative from Cumberland County; born in Plainfield, Cumberland County, Pa., October 14, 1857; assistant bookkeeper, clerk, secretary and president, Mount Holly Paper Company; secretary, Mt. Holly Stationery and Printing Company; school director; elected, president, Mount Holly School Board; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1910; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1912 General election; died, April 18, 1934 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Holly Springs Cemetery, Mount Holly Springs, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
