STAVING, Charles E., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, April 13, 1876 in Allegheny City (now Pittsburgh), Allegheny County, Pa.; assistant engineer, Bureau of Water, city of Pittsburgh; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1914; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1916); died, July 10, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
