SQUIBB, Elmer Ellsworth, a Representative from Berks County; born in Brecknock Township, Berks County, Pa., January 4, 1873; attended, Interstate Commercial College and Reading Business College; teacher; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1901 and 1903 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1905 term; elected, burgess, Birdsboro (1909-1912); reelected to the House to serve in the 1931 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1933 term; died, June 4, 1943 in Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. John’s Union Church Cemetery, Gibraltar, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
