CARLSON, Edgar A., a Representative from Potter and Tioga Counties; born in Harwick, Allegheny County, Pa., September 2, 1929; graduated, Morris Run High School, 1946; attended, Lycoming College; elected, justice of the peace, Blossburg (1960-1964); Blossburg Republican Committeeman (1962-1972); elected, treasurer, Tioga County (1966-1985); Republican Committee Chairman, Tioga County (1972-1992); elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (1980); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1985 term and served 3 consecutive terms thereafter; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1993 term; died, June 24, 2008 in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
