BOWLEY, Curtis Scott, a Representative from Forest, Venango, and Warren Counties; born in Warren, Warren County, Pa., August 10, 1954; graduated, Sheffield High School, 1972; B.S., recreation, Slippery Rock State College (now Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania), 1976; M.S., recreation, The Pennsylvania State University, 1979; owner, Renewable Forest Products Company; elected, auditor, Sheffield Township (1980-1984); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1984; reelected to serve 3 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee on Land Use and Growth Management (1990); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1992, 1994); unsuccessful campaign, State Senate (1996).
