SMITH, Lorenzo, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, December 3, 1851 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; graduated, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts; engaged, designing, decorating, and house painting business; church organist and choirmaster; secretary, 32nd Ward Washington Party Committee; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Keystone/Washington Party candidate in 1912; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1914); died, July 1, 1932 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
