SMITH, George Albert, a Representative from Westmorland County; born, January 31, 1857 near Latrobe, Derry Township, Westmorland County, Pa.; engaged in men’s clothing and shoe business (35 years); elected, Westmoreland County Republican Committee (30 years); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as Republican in 1922 and 1924; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1926); died, April 5, 1930 in Derry, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Unity Cemetery, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
