SMITH, Dr. Frank Ira, a Representative from Pike County; born in Towanda, Bradford County, Pa., July 1, 1862; graduated, Orangeville Academy; graduated, Lafayette College; M.D., Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), 1889; physician; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1917 and 1919 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1921 term; died, September 5, 1942 in Athens, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
