SMITH, Edmund Burke, Sr., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, February 22, 1879 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; LL.B., Western University of Pennsylvania (now University of Pittsburgh), 1901; lawyer (1901-1925); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1905 and 1907 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1909 term; died, December 21, 1925 in Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
