SITLER, Wallace A., a Representative from Schuylkill County; born in Carbon County, Pa., December 2, 1862; butcher; proprietor, White House Hotel, Tamaqua; operator, lumber and timber business; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1900); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in1902 and 1904; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1906); appointed, tax collector, Tamaqua (1915-1917); died, June 15, 1926 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lehighton Cemetery, Lehighton, Carbon County, Pennsylvania.
