DuPont (1966-1969); elected, treasurer, Cheltenham Township (1969-1978); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1979 term and served 6 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, House Select Committee to Investigate SEPTA (1979); appointed, Local Government Commission (1985-1990); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1993 term; chair, Montgomery County Republican Committee (1990-1993); official, Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development; died, October 4, 2009 in Wyncote, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Ivy Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
