SHUTT, Harry B., a Representative from York County; born in Heidelberg Township, York County, Pa., March 2, 1869; graduated, Millersville State  Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania), 1893; teacher; school principal (1893-1898); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1899 and 1901 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1903 term; farmer; assistant school principal; contributor, farm journals; died, December 25, 1954 in Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania.
