SHUNK, Howard P., a Representative from Erie County; born in Brownsville, Fayette County, Pa., January 14, 1874; attended, Chalfants Business College, Brownsville; window glass blower and director, Allegheny Window Glass Company; farmer; elected, school director (2 terms); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1917 and 1919 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1921 term; elected, chair, Erie County Republican Committee (1926); died, July 7, 1926 in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, North East Cemetery, North East, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
