SCOTT, George C., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, October 14, 1870 in Bloomsburg, Columbia County, Pa.; attended, Bloomsburg Literary Institute and Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania); graduated, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, 1892; clerk, law office of John R. K. Scott; principal, Diamond Investigating Agency, Philadelphia; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1906; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1908); real estate assessor; died, July 21, 1932 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
