SCOFIELD, Frederic R., a Representative from Clearfield County, born, September 18, 1856 in Brady Township, Clearfield County, Pa.; educated in county common schools; harnessmaker; lumber and mercantile businessman; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Penfield, Pa.; lawyer; elected as a Republican to the PA House of Representatives in 1902 and 1904; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1906); elected, burgess, DuBois; died, June 6, 1912 in DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
