SCHWARTZ, Joseph H., a Representative from Luzerne County; born, July 20, 1860 in New York City, New York County, NY; attended, College of the City of New York; wholesale dealer, wines and liquors; director, First National Bank of Plymouth; trustee, Wyoming Valley Homeopathic Hospital; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1921 term and reelected to 2 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1926); died, March 9, 1937 in Plymouth, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
