SCHEUER, John J. Jr., a Representative from Lackawanna County; born in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pa., December 12, 1858; graduated, Walker’s Business College; elected, select council, Scranton (1887); business manager, Scheuer Brothers, proprietors of Keystone Bakery, Scranton; vice president, Germania Building and Loan Association; director, Citizens Building and Loan Association; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1899 and 1901 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1903 term; died, August 30, 1933 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania; interred, Abington Hills Cemetery, Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
