ROGERS, Edward Grundy, a Representative from Sullivan County; born in Hillsgrove Township, Sullivan County, Pa., October 9, 1849; farmer; co-owner, Rogers Bros., lumber dealers; United States Patent holder, wire fence tightening implement (1893); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1901 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1903 term; died, July 28, 1924 in Elkland Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairmount Cemetery, Forksville, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.
