ROBINSON, Vincent Gilpin, a Representative from Delaware County; born in Wilmington, New Castle County, De., August 21, 1851; major, judge advocate and aide-de-camp for Brigadier General, First Brigade, Pennsylvania National Guard (1879-1895); lawyer; clerk, Prothonotary's office, Delaware County; elected, District Attorney, Delaware County (1876-1880); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1911 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1913 term; vice president, Rittenhouse Trust Company; died, March 27, 1942 in Clifton Heights, Delaware County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Saint David Church Cemetery, Wayne, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
