RIPPMAN, John Gottfried Heinrich “Harry,” a Representative from Perry County; born in Newport, Perry County, Pa., January 10, 1866; graduated, Newport Academy; employed, C.A. Rippman Tannery (1881-1900); partner, C.A. Rippman’s Sons Tannery (1901-1925); elected, council, Millerstown (30 years); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1923 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1925 term; cannery proprietor; died, January 4, 1942 in Millerstown, Perry County, Pennsylvania; interred at Millerstown Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
