RIPP, Samuel, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, December 16, 1862 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; proprietor, hotel business; member, school board, 11th Ward, Philadelphia; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1901 and 1903 term; resigned from the House, April 29, 1903; reelected to the House for the 1905 and 1907 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1909 term; died, February 1, 1921 in Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Saint Aloysius Cemetery, Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
