RICKARDS, Z. Taylor, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, 1849 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; telegrapher; apprentice carpenter; traveling salesman; employed, John Wannamaker; treasurer, Fulton & Walker Carriage Builders; elected, common council, Philadelphia (1895-1898); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1907 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1909 term; died, September 14, 1915 in Avalon, Cape May County, New Jersey; interred, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
