REX, John H., a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County, Pa., September 18, 1876; attended, Shady Grove Township School; attended, Sunnyside School; attended, William Penn Charter School; graduated, University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1893; lawyer; elected, council, Norristown (1900-1902); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1903, 1905, and 1907 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1908 General election; gubernatorial appointee, treasurer, Montgomery County (1918-1919); died, January 20, 1949 in Hazlet, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
