REITZEL, Quintin O., a Representative from Lancaster County; born in Salunga, Lancaster County, Pa., November 15, 1870; attended, Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania); first lieutenant, Company B, 11th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard (1898, Spanish-American War; 1916, Mexican Border); colonel, 149th Machine Gun Battalion, 23rd Infantry, 2nd Division, American Expeditionary Forces, United States Army (1918-1919, World War I); store clerk; school teacher; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1897 and 1899 terms; reelected to the House for the 1917 term (Sworn-In, January 22, 1918); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1900, 1918); elected, register of wills and clerk of Orphans Court, Lancaster County (1921-1924); died, April 3, 1929 in Salunga, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Landisville Mennonite Cemetery, Landisville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
