REED, Irvin A., a Representative from Schuylkill County; born in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County, Pa., September 18, 1872; graduated, Keystone State Normal School (now Kutztown University of Pennsylvania), 1894; teacher; principal, Ellwood schools; lawyer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1903 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1904); elected, District Attorney, Schuylkill County (1905-1908); died, November 24, 1916 in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; interred, Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
