RAHAUSER, Joseph P., a Representative from Franklin County; born in Antrim Township, Franklin County, Pa., May 4, 1854; attended, Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania); public school teacher (5 years); owner and operator, J.P. Rahauser & Brother, hardware and agricultural implement sales (12 years); horse breeder; apple and peach grower; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1902; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1904); died, October 12, 1905 in Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
