PATTERSON, Frederick Wendt, a Representative from Beaver County; born, Birmingham, Allegheny County, Pa., January 29, 1860; attended, Western University of Pennsylvania (now University of Pittsburgh); city engineer, McKeesport, Allegheny County; chief road engineer, Allegheny County (1897-1907); consulting civil engineer for railroads, contractors, municipalities, and counties; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1924; served 3 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1932).
