ORR, Samuel Johnson, a Representative from Mercer County; born in Fairview Township, Mercer County, Pa., February 27, 1874; B.A., Washington and Jefferson College, 1895; employed, People Natural Gas Company, Pittsburgh (1896); deputy prothonotary, Mercer County (1897-1898); teacher (1899-1900); lawyer (1900-1917); elected, council president, Greensville (1910-1914); unsuccessful campaign, District Attorney, Mercer County (1915); proprietor, fire insurance business (1917-1955);  elected, burgess, Greenville (1918-1921, 1946-1950); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1921 term and served 1 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1922 General election; died, January 18, 1955 in Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania; interred, Shenango Valley Cemetery, Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
