OAKS, Albert J., a Representative from Cambria County; born in Somerset County, Pa., November 16, 1867; employed, city of Johnstown; engaged in lumber and mine timber business; engaged in foundry and machine business; automobile dealer; motor truck builder; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1915 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1917 term; United States Patent holder, railroad crossing safety gate (1930); died, June 4, 1938 in South Fork, Cambria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
