NORTH, George R., a Representative from Chester County; born, March 7, 1860 in Dorchester County, Md.; member and secretary, board of directors, East Brandywine Public Schools (31 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1918; reelected to the House in 1924; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1920, 1922, 1926); died, March 20, 1941 in East Brandywine Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hopewell United Methodist Cemetery, Downingtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
